The Ever-Changing Media Landscape

Attending the 2023 AHP Equine Media Conference provides cutting-edge educational resources on the latest trends in media,

encourages best business practices and journalism standards, and connects the industry through networking sessions and opportunities.

The annual AHP Equine Media Conference includes two days of educational sessions

plus special evening events on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The conference is the number one place in the equine industry to network with equine media and members of AHP. 

The 2023 Equine Media Awards winners are announced on Saturday night for members’ work published in 2022.

Thursday “Old Town Scottsdale Tour”

June 22, 2023 - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost: $40
Known as the “West’s Most Western Town,” Scottsdale, Arizona, has rich agricultural roots but today it’s a vibrant city
filled with spas and resorts, galleries, boutiques and diverse cuisine. It’s also home to several well-known horse trainers.
Experience Old Town Scottsdale in your own way during this tour planned just for AHP members attending the Meet at the Mesa
Conference. The bus will leave from the Doubletree Hotel at 9 a.m. sharp and drop you off in Old Town 
where you’ll have more than four hours on foot to explore everything this colorful Western-centric area has to offer. 
The bus will leave at 2:30 p.m. and return to the hotel.

How late can I register?

Online prepaid registrations are accepted until Friday, June 16, 2023
After June 16, please contact Chris Brune at ahorsepubs@aol.com to register and pay online.

 

What if I was issued a priority code?

If you have been given a PRIORITY CODE, please enter the code on your registration form in the required field.
Code can be used only one time per registrant. Members who earned referral credits will be notified by email.

 

How do I submit registrations for additional staff?

Additional staff registrations and/or guest charges.

 

Media Industry, Affiliate Business, and Nonprofit members may register additional staff during the initial registration process
by clicking on the option “Add Another Person” after you complete your registration.

 

All registrants may add guest meal charges for non-registrants attending a meal event.
Click on “Add Another Person” after completing your registration to select the meals your guest(s) will be attending.

Can a staff member attend the evening events who is not registered for a full or one day registration?

Yes, they can. There is a separate registration for single events for members only.

How do I make changes to my existing registration?

Registrants can't modify their existing registration once it's been paid and finalized without assistance.
Please contact Chris at ahorsepubs@aol.com.
She will make any edits or additions to your registration and send you an invoice for the balance.
Balance must be prepaid before June 16. 

 

How do I get a receipt?

Once you have completed your registration, click on “Finalize Registration” to pay online. 
You will receive a notification of your registration and payment from chris@americanhorsepubs.org

 

What if I need to cancel my registration?

Registration Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • No shows will not be refunded.
  • If circumstances change and you can no longer attend the 2023 AHP Conference, you may cancel your registration by providing written notice to Chris Brune at ahorsepubs@aol.com.
  • Registrations will be refunded in full if you notify AHP of your cancellation in writing on or before midnight, EST, Friday, June 16, 2023.
  • There will be no refunds given for any cancellations received after June 16, 2023.
