The tour bus stops at the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame & Museum, Fort Worth Cultural District, and Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District.
Bus departs and returns to the Westin DFW Airport Hotel.

The Cowgirl Hall of Fame is a spectacular celebration of women and their accomplishments, sure to appeal to AHP’s mostly female membership. The Hall of Fame members include such honorees as Sherry Cervi, Mary Burger, Reba McEntire, Dr. Eleanor Green, Temple Grandin, Sunny Hale, and Sandra Day O’Connor. Exhibits include western art, photography, and apparel. There are also interactive exhibits that allow visitors to “ride” a bronc and listen through the history of western music. Bonus: a gift shop that is enticing in its own right.

Attendees may opt to stay in the Cowgirl Hall of Fame area can enjoy the Fort Worth Cultural District, home to five museums featuring western and modern art as well as a child-friendly museum of science and history. The interactive Fort Worth Water Gardens are also nearby. The bus will return to pick up attendees at 3:15 p.m.   https://www.fortworth.com/about/neighborhoods-districts/cultural-district/

Please note: Effective Wednesday, August 18, all staff, volunteers, contractors, and visitors over the age of two must wear a mask over the nose and mouth while indoors at the museum. 

  • Explore and enjoy lunch in Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District with your AHP friends.

Participants can choose restaurants, shopping, and more, including a visit to American Paint Horse Association headquarters for a tour, nearby museums, such as the Stockyards Museum, the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, and the Military Museum of Fort Worth.
