Networking for media professionals who are passionate about horses.

The AHP Conference includes two days of sessions covering publishing, journalism, revenue building, marketing, professional development, and much more. The conference is the number one place in the equine industry to network with equine media and members of AHP. The 2021 Equine Media Awards winners will be announced on Saturday night for members’ work published in 2020.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

All registrants must agree to an Assumption of Risk Waiver.  Download and save the PDF to your computer. Sign the waiver and save the file under your name. Choose your file and upload it in the field on the registration form or email to chris@americanhorsepubs.org.

Online prepaid registrations are accepted until Thursday, September 16. No onsite registrations will be accepted.

If you have been given a PRIORITY CODE, please enter the code on your registration form in the required field. Code can be used only one time per registrant. Members who earned referral credits will be notified by email.

Members with prepaid registrations deferred from Lexington will be notified to confirm their attendance at the Texas conference. Your registration will be entered by the AHP office.

AHP does not collect or share personal registration information.

Fees are per Individual Attendee.

Additional staff registrations and/or guest charges.

  • Publishing Media, Business, and College/University members may register additional staff during the initial registration process by clicking on the option “Add Another Person” after you complete your registration.
  • All registrants may add guest meal charges for non-registrants attending a meal event. Click on “Add Another Person” after completing your registration to select the meals your guest(s) will be attending.

Once you have completed registration, click on “Finalize Registration” to pay online. You will receive a notification of your registration and payment from chris@americanhorsepubs.org.

Want to add a tour or guest meals, register an additional staff member, or make a change to your registration?

  • Registrants can't modify their existing registration once it's been paid and finalized without assistance. Please contact Chris at chris@americanhorsepubs.org or ahorsepubs@aol.com. She will make any edits or additions to your registration and send you an invoice for the balance. Balance must be prepaid via PayPal before September 16. 

The Horsing Around Cowtown Tour on Thursday will require a separate registration. Members will be notified when they can sign up online.

Registration Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • No shows will not be refunded.
  • If circumstances change and you can no longer attend the 2021 AHP Conference, you may cancel your registration by providing written notice to Chris Brune at ahorsepubs@aol.com.
  • Registrations will be refunded in full if you notify AHP of your cancellation in writing on or before midnight EDT, Thursday, September 16, 2021.
  • There will be no refunds given for any cancellations received after September 16, 2021.
